1) Stem Cells

Stem cells have the ability to heal and replace damaged tissues or cells in the body. They do this by traveling to areas of inflammation and replenishing what has been lost. In hair restoration, we use Stem Cells to regenerate and grow miniaturized hairs that have not been able to reach the surface of the scalp. Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) is where the physician removes the follicles individually using a hand held device. After the extraction, graft sites are made and ready for the follicles to be placed.

4) Follicular Unit Transplant

Follicular Unit Transplant (FUT) is also commonly know as the "strip method". This is where a strip of the patients tissue is removed from the back of the scalp then used to harvest follicles for transplant. Under a microscope, the follicles are trimmed from excess tissue and placed into the graft sites. Although this procedure is more invasive than FUE, It is more cost effective and proven to grant the same, if not better results.

5) Artas

ARTAS is another form of FUE: however, instead of the physician using a handheld device, the machine itself does most of the work.
